Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept

As Financial Systems Administrator/Accountant, your work will be critical to helping the company meet its strategic objectives, creating repeatable and scalable processes in the Finance Department, and providing reliable and complete financial data for the organization.

What will you do?

  • You will report to the Senior Accountant/Junior Controller or other senior finance person to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the financial statements and other financial reporting.
  • You will work with the Senior Accountant/Junior Controller or other senior finance person to formulate and implement company-wide accounting processes that advance the objectives of the accounting department.
  • After an initial acclimation period, you will be the person primarily responsible for managing employee, customer, and vendor profiles/templates in the accounting system.
  • You will manage and audit all expenses posted to the GL account, including but not limited to timesheets, expense reports, and purchases.
  • You will share the activity of balancing GL accounts at month-end with the Senior Accountant/Junior Controller.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in management information systems or accounting
  • At least 3 years practical experience in an administrative role overseeing financial systems
  • Strong analytical skills    
  • Strategic and critical thinking skills
  • Good decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong software application experience including but not limited to MS Office Suite, Adobe and common accounting systems.
  • Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software is required.
  • Experience with an ERP accounting software is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • This is a hybrid position and currently requires three days in office (Tuesday to Thursday) at one of our facilities in Tampa FL, Nashville TN or McLean VA
