HR Coordinator
The Staff Pad is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator on behalf of our client. This role provides essential support in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR operations and a passion for fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruitment processes, including candidate screening and interview coordination.
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for employees.
- Support employee relations, engagement initiatives, and compliance with labor laws.
- Process payroll, track timekeeping, and maintain HR records and databases.
- Assist in benefits administration, workers compensation claims, and unemployment processing.
- Monitor HR metrics and prepare reports for leadership.
- Ensure company policies align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software; experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- HRCI and/or SHRM HR certification(s) preferred.
