About the role
We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Recruiter to build and lead our talent function. As a player-coach, this individual will be responsible for designing and executing talent acquisition strategies while mentoring and developing a high-performing talent team. Working closely with our founders, they’ll play a critical role in scaling our organization by attracting and hiring top-tier talent, fostering a culture of excellence, and establishing processes to support our long-term growth.
This role is based at Range's Headquarters in McLean, VA or in New York City. Employees hired for this position will work in office Monday-Friday. If you are not currently located in one of these areas, your willingness to relocate will be a contingency for employment.
What you’ll do with us
Act as a player-coach by directly recruiting for key roles while mentoring and developing a high-performing talent team.
Create and implement scalable processes for sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top-tier talent across diverse functions.
Partner with founders and leadership to understand hiring needs, define role requirements, and align talent acquisition strategies with business goals.
Analyze recruiting metrics to continuously optimize the talent acquisition process and ensure an excellent candidate experience.
Develop and maintain a strong employer brand to attract high-caliber candidates.
What will set you apart
7+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting.
Proven success in scaling recruitment efforts for growing companies.
Expertise in sourcing and recruiting top-tier talent.
Strong understanding of recruiting tools and technology.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience in a venture startup environment preferred.
