About this role: Psychiatry/MAT APRNs will provide patient focused, comprehensive, psychiatric and MAT care to under-resourced patients within A&C’s community health centers. With a whole health care model in mind, the APRN will work collaboratively with other A&C team members to effectively assess and treat A&C Health patients through direct care, consultation, and/or referral.

The Location and hours: A&C is based in Central Indiana. For this position, we service the surrounding counties. You will work Monday - Friday core hours with possible exceptions as needed.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Provide outpatient psychiatric care to A&C patients regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, or medical illness
• Evaluate, assess, and recommend appropriate treatment for patients including but not limited to medications, lab orders, and referrals
• Evaluate and treat patients both in the clinics face-to-face and through telehealth
• Analyze and interpret referral reports, laboratory results, and medical records to diagnose medical conditions of patients and propose treatment options
• Prescribe and administer (when necessary in the clinic) medications and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions
• Prescribe MAT (including Suboxone) to patients
• Demonstrate a commitment to carrying out professional responsibilities, adherence to ethical principles and sensitivity to diverse patient populations

• Master’s degree in nursing
• Minimum of four (4) years as a registered nurse
• Minimum three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting, plus two years of psychiatric nurse practitioner experience
• Prior MAT experience including treatment with Suboxone preferred or willingness to learn MAT
• Current IN state license as an advanced registered nurse practitioner with prescriptive authority
• Current IN state registered nurse license
• Completion of all required educational requirements as per professional license standards
• All necessary licenses must be kept active
• APRN license
• State of Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA
