The Role
Firsthand is looking to hire a Recruiting Manager who will be the first person candidates speak with during their Firsthand experience. As the first recruiting hire, you will not only be responsible for full cycle recruiting but you will play a pivotal role in recruiting tool selections, process design and candidate experience. This role requires experience with both technical and business candidates with the ability to create and manage new processes for a growing company. The ideal candidate will be located in the New York metropolitan area.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage sourcing and recruiting efforts for both technical and business roles, focusing on identifying and engaging top-tier talent aligned with Firsthand’s values
Build, support, and refine recruiting processes and tools, developing and maintaining best practices
Partner with hiring managers on strategy and execution while refining searches
Immerse yourself with Firsthand’s culture and champion our values throughout the hiring process
Leverage both traditional and emerging channels to enhance the diversity of candidate pools
Stay aware of industry trends and developments to attract talent from the best organizations
Close candidates that will be fundamental to Firsthand’s growth and success
Report on key recruiting metrics and provide data-driven and actionable insights
Qualifications:
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong track record in technical recruitment within high-growth environments
Prior experience recruiting across a breadth of roles simultaneously as business needs change
Proficient with modern recruiting tools including Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, and additional recruiting tools needed to scale an early-stage, high growth company
Outstanding communicator who can navigate complex stakeholder relationships
A passion for building exceptional teams and interest within the AI and advertising landscapes
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment with a high level of autonomy and accountability
