About the Role:
As a member of Matterport's Vision & Learning team, you'll have the chance to work alongside industry experts in a collaborative and innovative environment. Our cutting-edge technology enables users to capture, create, and share immersive digital twins - 3D models of real-world environments. From real estate to construction, retail to hospitality, Matterport's solutions empower businesses and individuals to showcase spaces like never before. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our team of researchers and engineers to develop and implement state-of-the-art computer vision and machine learning algorithms.
Participate in the design, training, and evaluation of deep learning models for various applications, including 3D reconstruction, object detection, and semantic segmentation.
Contribute to the development and optimization of algorithms for processing and analyzing 3D spatial data.
Conduct experiments, analyze results, and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
Strong programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
Solid understanding of computer vision principles, machine learning algorithms, and linear algebra.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
