Job Summary:
This position is responsible for delivery of services related to the 9 dimensions of Wellness. In addition this position requires excellent design and documentation skills for developing processes, projects, programs, policies, and systems. Must have the ability to influence without having direct control, have the creative ability to take a vision and translate into programs that can be deployed, have an expert understanding of the program needs of residents in independent, assisted and dementia care living environments. Must be an effective communicator have strong leadership, teaching, coaching and motivational skills. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Must approach all encounters with residents, associates and vendors in a friendly, service oriented manner while demonstrating a high work ethic. Must have the ability and willingness to meet project deadlines and goals, be punctual and dependable.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Services, the Arts or related field, one (5) to eight (8) years of cultural arts, activities programming and management required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Incumbent should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability, strong customer service and interpersonal skills, and be available to handle community relations. Must be proficient in the operation of computer applications such as Office and various office machines including switchboard telephone, calculator/adding machine, copying machine, fax, etc.
