We are currently hiring for a Maintenance Supervisor. This position is an exempt full-time position located in McHenry, IL. The pay range for this position is $62,000 -$75,000 annually. Position Overview:

Responsible for overseeing a team of maintenance mechanics, coordinating the repair and maintenance of facilities and machinery, ensuring proper functioning of equipment, and maintaining safety standards by inspecting facilities, scheduling repairs, training staff to effectively address maintenance needs within the facility.   

Possess knowledge of various maintenance disciplines like electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and material handling systems.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventative maintenance; conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implementing preventative maintenance procedures to avoid breakdowns.
  • Work order management; assign and monitor maintenance work orders to mechanics, ensuring timely completion of task and productive use of time.   Oversee work performed by outside contractors as needed.
  • Hiring, training, and evaluating maintenance personnel, providing guidance and support on technical issues.    
  • Addressing urgent maintenance issues and coordinating responses to priority work.  
  • Enforcing safety protocols and ensuring adherence to OSHA and industry regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.  
  • Prevent accidents and injuries by ensuring that the building, grounds, and equipment are in safe condition at all times.  Conduct regular safety audits of the premises.  

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and material handling systems.  
  • General Computer Experience
  • Ability to work off hours (nights and weekends) when necessary
