Position Summary:
As a Recruiter for our national strategic delivery team, you will play a critical role in identifying and engaging top-tier technology professionals for our key clients. You will work closely with Business Development to fulfill strategic hiring needs while building strong talent pipelines. The successful candidate is a high performing and experienced technology staffing recruiter who excels at connecting top IT talent with the right career opportunities.
Location: Bedford, Chicago, Dallas preferred
Key responsibilities:
Proactively source, screen, and engage highly qualified technology professionals through various channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, networking, referrals, and direct outreach
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial outreach and screening to interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding
Partner closely with Business Development and hiring teams to understand client needs, job requirements, and hiring priorities
Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for high-demand skill sets in IT, software development, cloud, cybersecurity, and other technology sectors
Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and CRM tools to track candidate interactions, manage talent pipelines, and maintain accurate records
Represent Planet Technology professionally and promote our brand as an employer of choice in the tech staffing industry
Required qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in technology recruitment, preferably in an agency or staffing environment
Proven success in sourcing and placing candidates in IT, software development, or related technical fields
Strong understanding of technical roles, skill sets, and industry hiring trends
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and clients
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities

Base salary: $55,000 - $65,000 and uncapped commission structure
*The base salary rate will be commensurate with experience level and past success. A competitive commission structure based on weekly spread is also provided.
