Role and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the director of information technology, the senior systems administrator manages the technical configuration of and provides end user support for ATSSA’s Association Management System; supports and leads software implementation projects; integrates software systems; and resolves complex technical challenges.
The senior systems administrator will initially manage and support ATSSA’s current Association Management System, Altai Systems built on Dynamics 365. In 2025, ATSSA will select and begin implementing a new AMS. This role will have a key role in the implementation and will support the new AMS after the transition.

Education and Experience
Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology management, or accounting; at least three years of experience administering or implementing Association Management Systems or similar software; and certifications relevant to AMS/CRM software are preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Technical skills relevant to the position include knowledge of hardware, software, and peripheral device configuration; Association Management System administration or implementation experience; advanced knowledge of Office 365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams; and the ability to support remote users and mobile devices. Non-technical skills relevant to the position include the ability to work independently or as a team; the ability to respond quickly while offering high level customer service; flexibility to change and juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment; attention to detail and the ability to track and analyze information; ability to document processes and procedures; ability to explain technical issues in a non-technical way; strong problem solving skills; and an eye towards improving processes and procedures; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Work Location
Successful candidates will live within 60 miles of Fredericksburg, Virginia and be willing to report to the Fredericksburg, Virginia office at least once per week.
