Description

A strategic leadership role oversees and implements policies, programs, and initiatives related to employee relations and performance management.  Serve as subject matter expert in revising, creating, and interpreting employment policies and procedures and developing best practices and initiatives for effective performance management, performance coaching, and conflict management best practices. Champion a dynamic, effective relationship culture by incorporating assessments and making data-driven decisions to enhance the work environment. Lead a team in driving consistent policy interpretation and application of workplace policies and provide other support as necessary for championing and driving a culture of proactive employment best practices and coaching, accountability, inclusiveness, and fairness. Identify trends and opportunities across GT, developing responsive and proactive initiatives to support GT as a continued employer of choice.

  • This position will regularly interact with institute and departmental leadership, managers, staff, and faculty.
     
  • This position typically advises and counsels institute leadership, departmental managers, HR, Legal Affairs, Risk Management, and Faculty Affairs.

Requirements

Educational Requirements

Master's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Experience

Ten or more years of job-related experience, including at least five years of supervisory experience
