Job Description

** This role is based at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You’ll work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays

About the Role
In this role you will protect the interests of the company and associates by overseeing workers comp claim processing and compliance.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the Texas Injury Plan

  • Monitor compliance with the Texas Injury Plan and all self insured filings, premiums, and requirements

  • Oversee claims adjusting services, insurers and medical providers on all claims, including litigation

  • Direct the activities of third party administrators

  • Interpret laws ,regulations and policies to guide appropriate decision-making

  • Directs the activities of outside claims adjusting services, insurers, and medical providers

  • Guide manager involvement and decision-making on claim settlements and hearings

  • Communicate with store and distribution center teams to ensure prompt return to work and updated medical status

  • Communicate with insurance carriers, doctor's offices, attorneys, etc.

  • Prepare reports, documentation and correspondence related to workers comp claim processing

  • Additional task may be assigned as necessary

What Skills You Have
Required

  • Multiple years experience in insurance field with adjusting experience in worker's compensation claims with National Insurance carrier, Third Party Administrators (TPA), and/or self-insured company

  • Proficient in the use of claims management systems, databases, and internet programs.

  • Ability to effectively present and direct information to all management levels.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret state worker's compensation regulations.

Preferred

  • Multi-state work comp experience

  • Retail experience

  • Managing losses in a risk management environment

  • Working knowledge of ERISA/Self Insured plans
